The 2024 World Wrestling Championships in non-Olympic categories is currently underway in Belgrade, Serbia
The tournament began on March 19 and will run until March 27. This year's competition includes the following weight classes in women's wrestling:

- 59 kg
- 62 kg
- 65 kg
- 68 kg
- 72 kg
- 76 kg
- 82 kg
The semi-finals in men's freestyle wrestling will also be held during this tournament

Here's a summary of the results in women's wrestling so far
In the 53 kg weight class, Akari Fujinami of Japan won the gold medal, while Cadet World Champion Anastasiia Kuksa of Ukraine took home the silver medal. Bronze medals were awarded to Zhuldyz Eshimova of Kazakhstan and Antim Archuleta of the United States.
In the 55 kg weight class, Roksana Zasina of Poland won the gold medal, while Oleksandra Khomenets of Ukraine won the silver medal. Bronze medals were awarded to Nina Hemmer of Germany and Jonna Malmgren of Sweden.
In the 57 kg weight class, Alina Hrushyna of Ukraine won the gold medal, while Tsugumi Sakurai of Japan won the silver medal. Bronze medals were awarded to Giullia Penalber of Brazil and Anhelina Lysak of Poland.
In the 59 kg weight class, Anastasia Nichita of Moldova won the gold medal, while Grace Bullen of Norway won the silver medal. Bronze medals were awarded to Shokhida Akhmedova of Uzbekistan and Anna Lukasiak of Poland.
In the 62 kg weight class, Nonoka Ozaki of Japan won the gold medal, while Kayla Miracle of the United States won the silver medal. Bronze medals were awarded to Iryna Koliadenko of Ukraine and Luo Xiaojuan of China.
