Michael Imperioli Had No Idea About 'White Lotus' Season 2

Despite Appearing in the First Season

Michael Imperioli has been a part of some of the most iconic television shows of all time, from The Sopranos to Mad Men. But even he was surprised when he was asked to appear in the second season of The White Lotus.

"I had no idea there was going to be a second season," Imperioli said in a recent interview. "I thought the first season was a one-off." But when the show's creator, Mike White, called him up and asked him to be a part of the second season, Imperioli was thrilled.

Imperioli's Role in 'The White Lotus' Season 2

In the second season of The White Lotus, Imperioli plays Dominic Di Grasso, a wealthy businessman who is on vacation with his family. Dominic is a complex character who is both charming and ruthless. He is a loving husband and father, but he is also a ruthless businessman who is willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead.

Imperioli said he was drawn to the role of Dominic because he is such a complex character. "He's a guy who is very successful, but he's also very damaged," Imperioli said. "He's a guy who has a lot of secrets, and he's not always honest with himself or with other people."
