Fiorentina's boss left in the dark over latest spate of injuries
Vincenzo Italiano left scratching his head as Fiorentina stars continue to fall
La Viola boss bemoans lengthy list of absentees, but vows to find solutions
Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano has admitted he is baffled by the spate of injuries that have hit his squad and left them searching for answers.
The Viola have been hit by a string of injuries in recent weeks, with key players such as Gaetano Castrovilli, Nicolas Gonzalez, and Riccardo Sottil all currently sidelined.
Italiano has been left scratching his head over the reasons for the injuries, but has vowed to find solutions to the problem.
"I don't know what to say," Italiano said. "We have had a lot of injuries this season, and it is starting to become a problem.
"We are doing everything we can to prevent these injuries, but it seems like something is not right.
"We are going to have to find a way to get through this, and we are going to have to find a way to win games without some of our key players.
"I am confident that we can do it, but it is going to be a challenge."
Fiorentina are currently 10th in the Serie A standings, and they will be hoping to improve their position in the table when they return to action after the international break.
They will face a tough test when they travel to face Juventus on April 2, but Italiano is confident that his team can get a result.
"We know that Juventus is a great team, but we are not afraid of them," Italiano said.
"We are going to go there and try to win the game.
"We have a good team, and we are confident that we can beat anyone on our day."
