Steamforged Games have announced that they have partnered with Aspyr to bring several classics to consoles.

Steamforged Games, a tabletop game company known for its work on the Dark Souls and Horizon Zero Dawn board games, has announced a partnership with Aspyr Media to bring several classic role-playing games to consoles. The games in question are the Enhanced Editions of Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment, and Dragon Age: Origins.

These games are all considered to be among the best role-playing games ever made, and their Enhanced Editions include a number of improvements over the originals.

The Enhanced Editions include new content, such as new areas, quests, and characters. They also include a number of graphical and gameplay improvements, such as higher-resolution graphics, improved lighting, and a new combat system. Additionally, the Enhanced Editions include all of the DLC that was released for the original games.

The console versions of these games will be released later this year.

No specific release date has been announced yet, but it’s possible they could be released as early as this summer. The games will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. No word yet on whether or not they will also be released on the next-gen consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but it's likely.
